My Knee Replacement Update

Heading south to Tampa on the 7th for Tampa Bay Line Dance Classic. I am so excited about going! It’s been 3 years since I’ve been able to go…..After having robotic assisted partial knee replacement in March, I am back on the floor…..Thank you Dr. Carlos Tandron, Jacksonville, FL !!

For those of you that may read this post and are uncertain of having a  knee replacement, don’t be….Do your homework and make sure you have an excellent surgeon (read above) who’s a doctor that does alot of knee replacements, not one just every now and then……and the most important part of having knee replacement surgery is your PHYSICAL THERAPY….Does it hurt? Yep, it does, but it’s bearable and it’s absolutely necessary for the end result to be successful….So glad I had my done and I would do it again tomorrow……

My Thoughts On Cleaning and Organzing

In my sewing room about to tackle the job of cleaning and reorganzing….UGH! Two things in this world I really really dislike, house cleaning and organizing…..And as ya’ll know, it’s never ending!! No matter how many times we do it, it’s always there, like a little black cloud over our heads, reminding us constantly, you need to do this, you need to get this done, oh there’s that to do..!! Arrrrggggghhhhhhh!! ……Of course, I have become quite adept at making a million excuses and tell myself  “I’ll do it tomorrow”…Riiiiiiight!! A friend of mine and her husband, are constantly organizing something…they will THINK things up to organize…it’s a sickness, I think ~evil grin~….I told her, no wonder you don’t have time to sew, you are too busy organizing….I know, know, I should be more like her, but….Bleeeehhhh…..I have more fun ignoring it…It will definitely be there tomorrow!! “Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love you tomorrow, you’re only a day away….!

Guess what, above friend just called me..I told her what I was doing…..She’s still laughing………

Be good to yourself and have a wonderful cleaning and organizing day!!!

I’m not sure who’s quilt this is or I would give credit to the designer/artist….But I am doing a miniature just like this one, using homespuns, but will more than likely be on burlap…Either way, just too cute…..
